Chang Yi (Secret of Shaolin Poles) and his sister, Hon Seung Kam, live on their farm with their blind mother (Wang Li, The Mask of Vengeance, in a truly remarkable role). When Chang Yi is informed that his father's murderer (Wong Tung Shung, One Armed Swordsman) is in town, he sets off for revenge. His rash act leads to an ever growing spiral of action and re-action as first Chang Yi is arrested for his attack on his father's murderer and then teams up with his arrestor (Shih Jun, A Touch of Zen) to fight the evil warlord. Every manner of blade and edged weapon is used in this incredible swordplay saga. The sets and cinematography, along with the truly amazing action, set this film apart. Never before released on DVD, Fast Sword is absolutely as good as it gets.
